Mmesoma Unachukwu is an undergraduate student at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computational Science. Originally from Nigeria, she is expected to graduate in May 2026 and currently maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA — a reflection of her unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
Her academic interests span some of engineering's most dynamic fields, with a focus on the intersection of physics, mathematics, and real-world application.
Leading on the Track and in the Lab
Mmesoma brings her engineering knowledge to life through hands-on technical leadership. She serves as Electronics Sub-System Lead for the Mustangs Formula SAE Racing Team, where she directs electrical design and collaborates across vehicle subsystems — building a race car from the ground up alongside fellow engineers. She also leads an active aerodynamics research project focused on downforce optimization using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
