Hall of Fame
The MSU African Students Organization Alumni Association is proud to announce our inaugural class of scholarship recipients β four outstanding African students at Midwestern State University, each awarded $500 in recognition of their academic excellence, leadership, and community impact.

Mmesoma is an undergraduate student at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computational Science. She is expected to graduate in May 2026 and currently maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Her academic interests include heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and automotive systems, with hands-on experience in solid modeling, electronics, and computational analysis. She serves as Electronics Sub-System Lead for the Mustangs Formula SAE Racing Team, leading electrical design and collaborating across vehicle subsystems. Mmesoma is also an active leader in the MSU ASO community, serving as Treasurer.

Naomi is an undergraduate nursing student at MSU Wichita Falls, pursuing her B.S. in Nursing with an expected graduation in December 2026. She holds a CPR certification and has completed extensive coursework in clinical nursing, pharmacology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and chemistry.
Naomi is actively involved in campus and community service, serving as a Social Media Handler for the Student Engagement Center and volunteering as a Nursing Assistant and Front Desk Specialist in healthcare settings. She is also an active member of the African Student Organization.

Anthony is a nursing student at Midwestern State University, pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Hailing from Zambia, Anthony represents the diversity and global reach of the MSU ASO community, bringing a unique perspective to his studies and a deep commitment to healthcare.
Anthony's dedication to his studies and his community exemplify the values of the MSU African Students Organization β unity, excellence, and service to others.

Ayomide is an undergraduate student at MSU Texas, born and raised in Nigeria. She is expected to graduate in May 2027, majoring in Applied Arts and Science with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and pursuing a minor in Management.
She serves as President of the African Student Organization at MSU β having started as Event Coordinator, then Vice President, before stepping into the presidency. She is also a Resident Assistant and Assistant Hall Director, and was recently selected for the MSU Dean's Honor List for Fall 2025.
